kugelmann is exceptionally strong on the three-point spreader market – a market which is very important to us. With the L series, we expand our position and supplement our range with spreaders which can easily be filled without needing loading silos.

The development began two years ago. Up to this point, kugelmann did not manufacture self-loading spreaders because models of this construction type always implicate substantial compromises as regards dosing accuracy and spreading reliability. We asked ourselves:

“Wouldn’t it be possible to connect the spreading disc fixed with the mounting frame and design the hopper in a way that it can pivot to the ground?” An idea as simple as it was ingenious. With this construction principle, it is possible to manufacture a self-loading spreader that is in no way inferior to normal three-point spreaders. We could make use of the proven kugelmann spreading technology which has been continuously improved and perfected over the past decades. „The result is the kugelmann L series, by far the best self-loading spreader on the market.“

As an interface between operator and machine, the control system combines intuitive operation and precise spreading technology. Despite the high tech solution with intelligent feedback and control function, the K-BASIC 2 is easily understandable and its use quickly becomes routine. You have everything under control without compromising on your work. The control system works entirely path-dependent. This means an economical and efficient use of spreading material.

A unique feature of our spreaders is the infinitely adjustable spreading width/density.
